JOYPURHAT: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia set her first visit after 10th parliamentary election to Joypurhat.

She will also visit 16 districts in the northern part of the country and she chose Joypurhat to visit first as the activists of the district played a strong role in demonstration demanding restoration of Caretaker Government system.

General Secretary of District BNP and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaz Fazlur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Khaleda will address in a rally in Joypurhat Ramdeo Bazla Government High School at 3pm. 

BNP Vice-Chairman Selina Rahman, Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, among others will join in the journey, BNP office sources said.     

District Juba Dal General Secretary Obaidur Rahman Sweet said to banglanews that they requested the administration to permit the Circuit House Field for holding the rally but the authorities approved the school ground.
