Khaleda’s Joypurhat rally starts

FROM JOYPURHAT:  Amid heavy rainfall and rush atmosphere in Joypurhat, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) started a rally Sunday where party’s chairperson Khaleda Zia will address.

The rally started in local Ramdeo Government Bazla School ground at 2:30 pm.

District president of BNP Mojahar Ali presided over the rally where the local leaders are now addressing.

Khaleda left Bogra Circuit House for Joypurhat at 1:50 pm to join the rally and she will address the program around 3:30 pm.

Earlier, Khaleda joined a rally in Bogra Circuit House at 1:40 pm where she said the governance system has broken down in the country as the incumbent government working for own interest.

She said Bogra’s development has fall behind while the Awami League came on power. They also stopped the development work which BNP started. The development work would be restarted if BNP assumes power.

Khaleda also alleged that ruling government is busy with kidnapping and murdering. They have no time for public. So BNP along with the people of the country would demonstrate to fall down this illegal government.

She handed over a check of Tk 1 lakh to Abdur Razzak, father of slain Jubo Dal leader Yusuf Ali Mondol, who was killed in political violence on December 26, 2013.
