CHITTAGONG: Law enforcers, in different drives, nabbed 28 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir from various areas of the Satkania and Lohagara upazilas of the district early Thursday.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (Satkania circle) AKM Emran Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Of the nabbed, 20 were nabbed from Satkania and eight from Lohagara, he added.

Of them, some 14 were arrested in specific charges against them, he added.
