DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, has invited BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia for taking Iftar with her.

The invitation came as a part of Iftar party that will be arranged at Gono Bhaban on July 17 in honour of the politicians.

Protocol Officer Akhter Hossain handed over the invitation card at Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office on Thursday noon.

Ashraful Alam Khokon, Deputy Press Secretary to the premier, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
