DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday met with party’s standing committee members over latest political scenario.

The meeting started at Chairperson’s political office at Gulshan of the city around 9:00pm.

They also discussed about their planning of anti-government movement.

In the meeting, a new central committee of Jubo Dal could be finalized, said the party sources.

Acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Tarikul Islam, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Barrister Jamir Uddin Cirkar, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy were among others present at the meeting.
