DHAKA: The government is now at a loss as the people of the country protesting the irregularities of ruling party.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the remarks in a statement sent to the media on Friday.

He said the government has become reckless to prevent the protest of the people. For this the government is continuing filing false case, arrest, repression, killing and kidnapping against BNP leaders.

‘It’s a chronological incident of government’s misdeed as they sent 23 leaders and activists including Sunamganj District BNP former general secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam to jail,” he added. 

Protesting and condemning the arrest, the BNP senior leader also demanded immediate release of the BNP men and withdrawal of the cases.
