No compromise with BNP: Nasim

DHAKA: Health Affairs Minister Mohammad Nasim on Tuesday said there is no possibility of compromise with Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) even in next “100 years”.

“There is no compromise with BNP as their hand is blooded with the blood of Bangabandhu. We will not shake hand with them for vote,” he said.

The minister came up with the assertion while addressing a program organized marking the National Mourning Day at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Criticizing the recent remarks on killing and disappearance of BNP leader, he said, “You planned the jail killing of November 3, army personnel, Colonel Taher and others.”

He also claimed that the BNP government did not trial of those murders. “But the incumbent government led by Sheikh Hasina made justice of the most of the cases,” he said.

Awami League (AL) joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Former social welfare state minister Mozammel Hossain, former MP Mostafa Jalal and vice-chancellor of BSMMU Dr Pran Gopal Dutta were among others present at the program.
