DHAKA: Ruling Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has alleged that the remarks of BNP leaders hinted wide-ranging conspiracy.
The spokesperson for the party came up with the observation while addressing a program organized marking National Mourning Day at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Tuesday.
Indicating BNP leaders, Hanif said, “The people will make failure BNP and Jamaat-e-Islam who try to create sabotage in the country.”
He also urged foreign countries, who give shelter to the killers of Bangabandhu, to return them.
The AL leader also demanded posthumous trial of Ziaur Rahman.
Health Minister Mohammed Nasim, Former social welfare state minister Mozammel Hossain, former MP Mostafa Jalal and vice-chancellor of BSMMU Dr Pran Gopal Dutta were among others present at the function.
