BNP expels 6 local leaders

DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) expelled its six leaders, including Comilla district (North) BNP unit president Khorshed Alam, on Tuesday.

They were expelled for violating the party discipline and their engagement in activities against the party’s interest.

The disclosure came from a press release signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

However, the other expelled leaders are Chandina municipal unit’s general secretary Nazrul Islam, joint general secretary Shahidul Islam, Chandina municipal Jubo Dal vice president Kamal Hossain, general secretary Nurul Islam and a Ward BNP leader Mezbah Uddin Babul.
