DHAKA: Visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is going to meet BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday.

Sources told banglanews that the meeting will be held at a city hotel in the evening.

Confirming the matter, BNP’s Gulshan office media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said that the meeting will begins around 6:30pm at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka hotel.

He, however, added that Abe might discuss ongoing political condition with the opposition leader.

Japanese Prime Minister is due to arrive in Bangladesh Saturday morning on a two-day official visit.

During the visit, Shinzo Abe will call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina too.
