DHAKA: Opposition Jatiya Party lawmaker Yahia Chowdhury on Monday urged Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s intervention to control Chhatra League.

He made the plea in National Parliament at a point of order in the evening session.

Indicating some photos where two Chhatra League men were seen giving training a university teacher about running arms, published on some dailies on Monday, he said these kinds of things are decreasing our image among people.

We are being questioned by people, he added.
