DHAKA: BNP Vice chairman Abdullah-al-Noman categorically said that the country turned into a jail as state forces are being used for political purpose.

He came up with the allegation while addressing a discussion organized by Dhaka District Unit of BNP Mahila Dal at National Press Club in city on Friday noon.

The former minister said that the government is plotting to ban Hartal which is rare in any countries of the world.

He also said that filing fake cases the government is harassing BNP leaders and activists.

With Dhaka Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal Dhaka Unit Convener Sabina Yasmin in the chair, Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal president Nuri Ara Safa and General Secretary Shirin Sultana among others delivered their speech in the program.
