NOAKHALI: Law enforcers, in a drive, nabbed 14 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir from the residence of Dumurua Union unit Jamaat’s vice-president Maulana Abu Bakar Siddique in Senbagh upazila of the district early Saturday.

Dumuria Union unit Jamaat’s president Maulana Abu Bakar Siddique, vice-president Maulana Abu Bakar Siddique BA and secretary Main Uddin also were nabbed in the drive.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Senbagh Thana Mominul Islam said they nabbed the Jamaat men while holding a secret meeting in the vice-president’s house.
