JESSORE: The Detective Branch (DB) of Police on Monday night detained General Secretary of Nawapara Municipality Awami League Abdul Wadud and recovered two pistols, five rounds of bullet and six crude bombs.

Law enforcers detained Abdul Wadud from Bhangagate area of the municipality around 9:00pm.

DB Sub-Inspector Muraduzzaman told banglanews that they held Abdul Wadud while conspiring for sabotaging.

We have recovered two 9mm pistols, five rounds of bullet and six crude bombs from his possession, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of Jessore DB Police Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
