DHAKA: Mahtabuddin Ahmed Chawdhury Minar, the prime accused in the case filed for the murder of Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul Haque, was arrested again from BIRDEM Hospital in city Saturday midnight.

Adabar Thana Sub-Inspector Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier, police detained BNP leader Mahtabuddin Minar after seven days of killing Fulgazi upazila Chairman Ekramul.

Later o n July 17, Minar was released on bail due to his illness and admitted to Bangladesh Institute of Research & Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM) hospital.

On May 20, Ekramul Haque was shot and burnt to death by miscreants.
