FENI: Ruling Awami League backed candidate Alimuddin won in the by-election of Fulgazi upazila in the district on Sunday.

AL candidate bagged 47,264 votes with the symbol ‘Pen and Ink’ while his nearest BNP-backed candidate Mahtabuddin Chowdhury Minar got 2,089 votes with ‘Pineapple’ symbol.

Assistant returning officer and also Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahidur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
