FROM BRAHMANBARIA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to address a rally at Niaz Mohammad High School ground of the district.

The BNP chief took her seat at the stage of a rally here on Tuesday afternoon.

She will address here after BNP central and local leaders finish their speech.

B’baria district BNP organized the rally protesting murder-disappearance-torture across the country, national broadcast policy, Supreme Court judges impeachment law and demanding next election under the non-partisan caretaker government.

Senior leaders, including its standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Vice-chairman Selima Rahman, Khaleda’s security affairs advisor major general (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar, press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel, and Dhaka city BNP member secretary Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, among others, are accompanying Khaleda Zia.

After addressing the rally, Khaleda is scheduled to leave Brahmanbaria for Dhaka at 7:00pm.
