DHAKA: A BNP delegation, which is now staying in China, held a joint seminar with the members of China Executive Leadership Academy in Pudong (CELP) on Monday, said a party release on Wednesday.

The release, signed by BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Joni, said the delegation was given reception at the CELP Lecture Hall.

CELP’s deputy director general delivered the speeches on title “General Review of the Republic of China” highlighting the history of China and the Communist Party and the Chinese government activities.

Addressing the seminar, Dr Moin Khan, on behalf of BNP, said Chine is a astounding model to the people of the world today in line with its long-days’ history.

Later, the BNP delegation held meetings with the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce (SFCCI) and Shanghai Chamber of Commerce buildings on the morning of the day.

After the meetings, the delegation visited the Museum of the First National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party where the first congress was secretly held on July 23 in 1921 that proclaimed the founding of the Party.
