DHAKA: National People’s Party (NPP) Chairman Sheikh Shawkat Hossain Nilu on Thursday announced a new political alliance named National Democratic Front (NDF)

The NPP Chairman came up with the declaration in a press conference at Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh auditorium on Thursday. 

A total of 10 parties, including five parties from the BNP-led 20-Party Alliance, joined the new alliance. 

Bangladesh Muslim League Acting Chairman Zubaida Quader Chowdhury, Secretary General Atiqul Islam, NAP Bhashani President Sheikh Anwarul Haque, Secretary General Hasrat Khan Bhashani, Jatiya Ganatantrik Party-JAGPA president Abdul Malek Chowdhury, General Secretary Bina Sarkar, Labour Party Chairman Sekendar Ali Moni, General Secretary Aktar Hossain, Islamic Party Acting president MA Rashid Pradhan, General Secretary Enayet Hossain, Alamgir Majumdar, National Democratic Party (NDP) acting chairman Alamgir Majumdar, General Secretary Ali Nur Rahman Khan Sazu, NPP General Secretary Abdul Hye Mandal, Bhashani Front Chairman Mamtaz Chowdhury, Bangladesh Insaf party Chairman Shahid Chowdhury, General Secretary Advocate Mahiuddin and   Trinamool NAP Bhashani chairman Parveen Naser Bhashani were present at the press meet.
