DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Thursday granted bail to BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury in a case of vehicle vandalism and obstruction in police duties.
Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Court Magistrate Hakim Ali Masud Sheikh passed the order after bail hearing.
Shamsher Mobin’s lawyer Zainul Abedin Mezhbah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
On June 27, 2010, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Ali filed the case with Gulshan Thana for vandalizing vehicles, obstructing police in discharging duties, attempting to murder a police official.
