DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu commented that the government is failed to ensure a safe and secured journey for the homebound people during the Eid.

He came up with the assertion in a greeting exchange program with the newly formed Dhaka City (South) committee leaders at the JP central office in city on Saturday afternoon.

He said that the homebound people are facing immense sufferings for poor condition of roads.

Long tailbacks are seen on the highways, he added.

Criticizing the incumbent government the JP leader said that there was no mismanagement when his party was in power.

However, the newly-elected JP convener of Dhaka City (South) Syed Abu Hossain Babla termed both Awami League and BNP hanker after power and do nothing for the betterment of people.

He also said that JP is concerned for the people.

His party will make the next government with the support of the people, he hoped.

Moreover, other senior party leaders were also present at the event.
