KUSHTIA: Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif claimed that the people of the country have left Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) as they have no political issues.

The AL leader made the remarks in a view exchange meeting with businesspeople and his party leaders in his Kushtia residence Monday noon.

He said BNP is now breaking down as they are in crisis. So, the party is trying to impose their failure to incumbent AL government.

Hanif said Sheikh Hasina’s name will be written with golden letters when the country will be free from poverty by 2021.

He also said the law and order situations are very satisfactory than the previous years. The people are observing Durga Puja and Eid in a festive mood.

District AL general secretary Azgar Ali, Kushtia AL president Taizal Ali Khan, among others, were present in the meeting.
