DHAKA: BNP joint-secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed on Tuesday urged the government to step down from the office and hold a fair election.

Rezvi came up with the call at a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office on noon.

He said this government has failed in every sector and people of the country are not safe in their hands.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has spread falsehood about the country in the international community and this incumbent government is being run by some selected Juba League and Chhattra League leaders and activists, Rezvi added
