No exemption for militants: Asaduzzaman

DHAKA: Pointing at the alleged connection of Bangladeshi militants in the blast in West Bengal's Burdwan of India, Bangladesh state minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan said not even an inch of his country’s land will be given to use for militancy.

The state minister came to this assertion in his secretariat office on Wednesday.

Earlier on October 2, some media reports said that two Bangladeshi militants were killed in a grenade explosion at a house in Burdwan town of West Bengal ‘while making bombs’.

While replying a query Asaduzzaman said the Indian government did not informed anything officially.

After India’s official statement Bangladesh will take necessary steps.
