DHAKA: Awami League secretary of publicity and publication Hasan Mahmood on Friday alleged that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is solely responsible for her party’s current ‘vulnerable condition’.

He came up with the observation while addressing a seminar arranged by Swadhinota Parishad at Khwaja Nizamuddin auditorium in city.

Hasan Mahmood, as the chief guest, said there that it is now a matter of fact that Khaleda is incapable to lead BNP more.

“Finally Khaleda realizes the truth -- Date and Time don’t vary demonstration,” he added.

The Awami League leader, at that time, also advised the BNP chairperson to resign for the sake of party.

He, however, added that Khaleda patronizes the militants, who are active in Bangladesh and neighboring West Bengal of India.

Awami League central committee member Sujit Roy Nandi, among others, spoke there while Swadhinota Parishad president Hasibur Rahman Manik presided over the program.
