DHAKA: A case was filed against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia with Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court for hurting religious sentiment.

Jananetri Parisad president AB Siddique filed the case on Tuesday in city.

The hearing will be held at the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mostafijur Rahman around 11:00am.

On October 14, Khaleda Zia exchanged greetings with the members of the country’s Hindu community where she said, “Secularism is just their Awami League mask, in fact, it is an irreligious party undercover of secularism.”
