Khaleda mourns Natore road crash victims

DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at the death of 33 people in a road crash on Banpara-Hatikumrul road at Baraigram upazila in Natore on Monday.

In a statement signed by BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Khaleda expressed condolence on Monday night. 

The BNP chief, in the message, said that dilapidated condition of roads is the main cause of such type of causalities across the country. 

Earlier on Monday, at least 33 people were killed and 40 others injured as two passenger buses collided head-on on Banpara-Hatikumrul road at Baraigram upazila in Natore.
