DHAKA: More than five hundreds BNP leaders and activists Wednesday appeared before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court in different cases including vandalizing, torching and bombing.

BNP men include-- Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, ASM Hannan Shah, BNP joint secretary general Barkatullah Bulu and Abdus Salam.

Confirming the matter Lawyer Joynul Abedin Mezbah told banglanews that the BNP leaders appeared before the court in eight cases including three of Hefazat-e-Islam.  

Joynul Abedin Mezbah also said that the court also fixed November 24, in three cases of Hefazat and Sutrapur and Paltan Thana cases to appear before the court.
