Cocktail blast in Rampura

DHAKA: Jamaat-Shibir men blasted cocktails, protesting the death penalty of Jamaat-e-Islami chief Nizami in city’s Rampura area on Wednesday.

The incident took place in the area at 1:25pm.

Earlier in the day, ICT-1 chairman Justice M Enayetur Rahim awarded Nizami death sentence for committing crimes against humanity in the country’s war of independence in 1971.
