AL opens ‘laboratory of autocracy’: Rizvi Ruhul Kabir Rizvi

DHAKA: BNP joint-secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday claimed that the incumbent Awami League (AL) government has open a ‘laboratory of autocracy’ and is developing strategies there to suppress political rivals.

The BNP leader made the remark at a press conference at the party’s headquarters in city’s Nayapaltan area in the morning.

Rizvi said that the grand alliance government has started a laboratory of undemocratic rule and raised fascism to extend their power.

Heinous activities like limitless anarchy, disorderliness, murder and disappearance have been originated from this laboratory of undemocratic rule, he added.

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s advisor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, BNP international affairs secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon, education affairs secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon, assistant information and research affairs secretary Habibur Rahman Habib, among others, were present at the conference.
