DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal, a front organization of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), will organize a grand rally in city on December 21.

The program will be held at Engineers’ Institute auditorium in the city.

Muktijoddha Dal president Ishtiaq Aziz Ulfat told banglanews that BNP chairperson will be present at the rally as chief guest.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other senior party leaders will also be present at the event, he added.

The organizers expected that several thousands of freedom fighters will participate at the event.

Moreover, pro-nationalist persons and intellectuals are also invited to attend the rally.

The party sources claimed that they have informed the authorities concerned regarding the rally.

According to the organizers, they will arrange the rally as in the previous years to uphold the ideology of BNP, founded by former freedom fighter and also former president Ziaur Rahman.
