DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) police on Saturday night raided the rented house of BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

Later police cordoned off the house at capital’s Uattara, though Fakhrul was not at home then.

Caretaker of the house Abu Kalam Kazal told banglanews police raided the house at 4:30am.
