DHAKA: Police fired tear shells and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control as activists of Awamil League and BNP locked into a clash at capital’s Kuril area at 11:00am Monday.
Sub-Inspector of Bhatara Thana Shamim told balganews that activists of Mohila Dol, lady wing of BNP, brought out a procession and tried to vandalize vehicles.
At that time police prevented and the clash erupted when Awami League activists chases them, he added.
Later police fired tear shells and rubber bullets to control the situation.
