DHAKA: Miscreants torched another bus in front of Hockey Stadium in Gulistan area of the city on Tuesday.

Duty officer Shahjadi Sultana of Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters confirmed the matter.

She said some miscreants torched the bus around 5:15pm.

On information, two fire fighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control.

Earlier, a bus of Shikar Paribahan was torched at Shahbagh in the capital in the afternoon.

Two passengers and the bus driver sustained injury while getting down hurriedly from the bus.

The driver said someone set fire after crossing Shahbagh intersection around 3:45pm.
