DHAKA: Miscreants shot Riaz Rahman, adviser to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, in Gulshan area of the city on Tuesday night.

He was rushed to United Hospital of the city, said Shamsuddin Didar, press wing member of the BNP chief.

Didar also said the attackers opened fire aiming at his car in front of the Westin Hotel at Gulshan-2 around 8:30pm on his way back from the office Khaleda Zia.

Reaz went to meet Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan political office where she has been confined for the last 11-day.
