RAJSHAHI: Law enforcers on Monday arrested three BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists, including Charghat upazila unit Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Nazmul Haque Kochi, who is also the vice chairman of the upazila.

Kochi was arrested from his Holidagachhi village residence at the upazila.

On January 25 night, Sub-Inspector of Charghat Thana Moazzem Hossain filed a law suit against 15 people, including Kochi over an arson attack at a goods-laden truck that burnt the driver and helper.

Officer-in-Charge of Charghat Thana Khandaker Golam Murtaza confirmed the matter to banglanews.
