SYLHET: The local unit of Chhatra Dal, student wing of BNP, has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Sylhet district for Sunday.

Sylhet metropolitan Chhatra Dal president Nurul Alam Siddique Khaled confirmed the matter of hartal on Thursday.

However, Chhatra Dal announced the hartal protesting the case against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on charge of instigating sabotage.

Nurul Alam Siddique also urged everyone to observe the shutdown successfully.
