DHAKA: Miscreants exploded a pair of cocktails on Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhammondi area of the city on Tuesday.

The blast occurred at 11:20am when the leaders and activists of ruling Awami League were taking preparation to bring out an anti-hartal procession.

However, no causality and detention was made in this connection.
