SIRAJGANJ: Police, in a drive, detained three leaders and activists of BNP from Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj Saturday night (February 3).

Seven cocktails were recovered from their possession.

The detainees are—Azad Hossain, 60, a BNP leader, Shahidul Islam, 45, a Jubo Dal activist and Ashraful Islam Bokul, 33, a Chhatra Dal activist.

Ullapara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Dewan Kowshiq Ahmed told Banglanews that the trio were nabbed from in front of the upazila BNP office, at around 7:30pm.
