Rushanara urged BNP to sit for talks

DHAKA: British Parliament Member Bangladeshi-descent Rushanara Ali on Friday urged the Opposition BNP to sit for talks to dissolve political crisis and for holding a fair election.

She also urged all the other political parties to sit for talks in this connection.

She told this to the journalists after holding a meeting with the opposition leader Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence on Friday evening.

During the time Rushanara also said: “Bangladesh itself has to look for the solutions of its problems.”

She also voiced her anxiety about the ready made garments of Bangladesh.

Acting general secretary of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, vice chairman Shamser Mubin Chowdhury, adviser to BNP chairperson Riaz Rahman among others were present in the meeting.
