DHAKA: A case was filed against Canadian engineering firm SNC-Lavalin by its sacked official, also accused of Padma graft case, Mohammad Ismail.

Ismail alleged that he was sacked illegally and sought 3 lakh Dollar compensations.

Ismail also brought allegations of harassment and misdeed against former officer of Lavalin Ramesh Shah.

The investigation team of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) came to know the matter at 11:00am Sunday.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, a source in Canada said, “The case was filed in May, but the matter was not disclosed to media before.”
