He said, “I went to US embassy last night in response to a dinner invitation. It was just a courtesy dinner with few party leaders. Earlier an AL delegation lead by me visited India at the invitation of ruling BJP. It was a party to party matter on developing relationships. However, we have not complained about any political person or issues to anyone. These meetings have nothing to do with the upcoming election.”
On the issue of Adamjee Jute Mills, Quader said government has plans to reopen the mills in a small scale. He also urged the workers to have faith on Sheikh Hasina on this matter.
