Truck kills 3 BCL activists in B’baria

BRAHMANBARIA: Three activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League were killed as a truck rammed their motorcycle on the regional road in Shahpur area in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria.  

The deceased were identified as Nurul Amin, 20, Faisal, 18, and Sajal Mia, 18, leaders of BCL units of Kuti and Kayempur unions under the upazila. 

Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Moniruzzaman told Banglanews that a goods-laden truck rammed their motorcycle when they were heading for Koshba, leaving Nurul dead on the spot and injured two others.

Locals rescued the two and whisked-off to Cumilla Sadar Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries, at the night. 

The truck was seized but the driver managed to flee away, added the OC.
