DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said Awami League will score hat-trick if it comes to power winning the next parliamentary election as it will be its 3rd consecutive times in power.
Health Minister came up with this assertion in a discussion on National Mourning Day at the auditorium of RAJUK on Wednesday (August 15).
Nasim told BNP not to wait for dialogue but to prepare for a competitive election. “We want to go to power competing against the opposition party in next election. If people vote us, we will form government. If not, then we will congratulate the winner,” he said.
Mohammad Nasim said, “All development work of a country cannot be accomplished even after staying in power for 10 years. Developing countries like Malaysia and Singapore are being ruled by the same government for decades. It is also the reason behind their tremendous development. We too want to score hat-trick by going into power this time.”
