DHAKA: In response to speech of Election Commission, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said BNP does not make unfounded allegations, but very specific allegation.
Earlier, EC said, “BNP is making unfounded allegations.”
The BNP leader told reporters while interviewing its party nomination seekers for the last consecutive day at BNP Chairperson’s political office in city’s Gulshan on Wednesday (November 21).
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “We have said many times that EC must work fairly. It’s their constitutional duty. They must be held accountable to countrymen, if they fail to perform this duty. We believe and hope that EC will carry out that duty, be able to fulfill hopes and aspirations of the countrymen.”
