DHAKA: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has left here for undergoing improvised treatment in Singapore, ahead of the 11th national elections.

Flight SQ447 of Singapore Airlines, carrying him, took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:45pm Monday (Dec 10).

Party Presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu and HM Ershad’s APS Md Monjurul Islam accompanied him.

Khandaker Delwar Jalali, deputy press secretary to HM Ershad, confirmed the matter.

Secretary General Mashiur Rahman Ranga, Presidium members Azam Khan, SM Faisal Chisty, Abdus Sabur Asad, Maj (retd) Khaled Akhter, among others, saw the party chairman off at the airport.
