DHAKA:  BNP criticized Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda for feeling embarrassed because of the murder of two people and attack on BNP Secretary General’s motorcade over the last two days.

A five-member team led by Selima Rahman met CEC at Election Commission (EC) building in city on Wednesday (December 12).

BNP Vice Chairman Selima Rahman said CEC is feeling embarrassed because of his inability to do anything.

“Despite this, we hope if he (CEC) takes right steps, we can prove this election an acceptable one,” Selima Rahman also said.

General Mirza Fakhrul Isalm Alamgir’s motorcade came under attack in Danarhat area of Thakurgaon Tuesday (December 11).
