NOAKHALI:   A case was filed against 361 BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists over the murder of a Jubo League leader in Noakhali Sadar upazila.

Ariful Islam Sumon, joint convener of Jubo League of Aujbalia union unit, filed the case with Sudharam police station on Thursday (December 13).

Pro-BNP former Aujbalia union chairman Md Shahjahan was made the prime accused in the case.

Speaking to Banglanews, Md Anowar Hossen, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sudharam police station said six people have already been arrested.  

For further information, remand will be demanded after producing them before court.

Criminals shot a Jubo League leader to death at Aujbalia union in Noakhali Sadar upazila on December 11.

The deceased was identified as Md Hanif, general secretary of ward unit of Jubo League in Aujbalia union.
