Mentioning that Awami League called hartal along with Jamaat and Jatiya Party for 173 days, for a caretaker government, he said: “BNP then accepted their demand and formed caretaker government”
“Three elections were held under that caretaker government. None raised questions over those elections. But Awami League has cancelled the caretaker government system after coming to power. (And) held voter-less elections in 2014,” he added.
Mirza Fakhrul further accused the government of putting highest efforts to remove BNP leaders from the poling ground by threatening and lodging cases.
“But, the desire of the government won’t be successful,” he said.
