FENI: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said the "camouflaged Freedom Fighters" have become united under the leadership of BNP. And they are now plotting against the state and to foil the elections. 

Quader, also the minister for road transport & bridges, was talking to the reporters after paying tribute to the Liberation war martyrs at a mausoleum at Rajajhi’s Dighir Paar in Feni, marking 48th Victory Day Sunday (Dec 16).

“The elections will be held, no matter how much conspiracy works, inshAllah (the elections) will be held. No evil force can foil the Dec 30 elections,” he said.

“BNP itself want to create unrest. They have planned the attack, carried out attack at Awami League office. Police has to intervene for confronting the situation. They (BNP) compelled police to intervene into,” he said regarding an alleged attack on BNP candidate for Noakhali-1 Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon.  

Feni-2 MP also Awami League General Secretary Nizam Uddin Hazari, among others, accompanied Quader.
